Cole was FABULOUS! When I initially walked into her studio, I had no "vision" for my wedding and I was just totally lost on how to bring everything together. Cole was wonderful and immediately began to detail a plan. She has wonderful ideas and I love how her designs are so unique! She was really easy to get in contact with-no issues there. Every time we decided to make a change, she was quick to respond and all of the arrangements at the wedding were just like we discussed (and even better than we discussed!). I started my search for a florist a little later than I probably should have (January when my wedding was in April). I checked out Cole Dewey Designs’ website and loved her philosophy of viewing flowers as art and making each design unique. Since I had no idea what I wanted for my wedding flowers, I thought it sounded like she would be able to help! She responded almost immediately with a personal e-mail after I filled out her info request online. I went in for a meeting soon after and had a great visit. What I knew that I wanted was pink and purple flowers with a seasonal and local focus as much as possible. When I left the meeting, I had a proposal in hand including the flowers we had talked about and the costs for each item. She had such great knowledge of her craft that she came up with ideas of what flowers would fit in my color scheme as well as those that would be available in Oklahoma or at least the US quickly and was able to talk me through the cost range of various options. She respected my budget and worked with me to create a package that would cover what I needed, would look beautiful, and still stay within my price range. In addition, she is a member of the “Oklahoma Bride Rewards” program so I was able to receive a discount on my bouquet. I had a meeting with one more florist, but soon decided to work with Cole. She was always quick to get back with me (even after having her first baby before my wedding!) and was very easy to work with. When I first saw my flowers on my wedding day, I was delighted to see that she had captured the colors that I wanted. The bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids were absolutely lovely. We chose bracelet corsages for our mothers, which were so cute but also functional in that they weren’t crushed after all the hugs given out that day! The flowers lasted so long and still looked nice even after we returned from our honeymoon. I wish they could have lasted forever. Since Cole personally completes all floral arrangements, I felt great knowing that the person I had talked with in the store was the one who would make my bouquet and knew what I was looking for. While searching for wedding vendors, I was looking for someone who was excellent in their craft but also someone with whom I could connect and trust to help make my wedding day wonderful. Cole fit these criteria—she is an excellent florist with knowledge, experience, and a great eye but also gives personal service, care and respect to each person to walk through her door. I highly recommend Cole Dewey Designs!
