Cottonwood Salon Spa

I loved Cottonwood’s atmosphere but overall it was just too expensive. Sheri did my hair and she was amazing. I had a hair trial with her that didn’t turn out exactly how I wanted and before I could even ask she offered to re-book me for a second try. My second trial was perfect and she didn’t even charge me. My third visit was on my actual wedding day and Sheri worked her magic all over again. She has a great personality, seems to really enjoy what she does and cares about customer satisfaction. On to my bridal make-up experience; my artist was Chelsea who picked a foundation that was way to light for my skin tone. I asked for dramatic eyes but wasn’t expecting them with such light foundation so when I looked in the mirror I was dissatisfied. Both my BM and I asked her to tone it down with a shimmery brown but even after doing so my eye make-up didn’t look good at all. I knew she wasn’t capable of doing make-up to my satisfaction so I left the salon then noticed I didn’t even have mascara on my bottom lashes. Needless to say but I had to re-do my entire face! Oh and beware that the make-up price doesn’t even include lashes!

Amy did a wonderful job on the bridal party hair, and Chelsea made all of us look beautiful. These ladies made my day beautiful and made us all feel like stars!

Pretty expensive, but if you want it done right and the way you want it you must go here!! :) They did a phenomenal job on my hair and make-up- I got compliments from EVERYONE all night long- even my husband was blown away!! :)

I scheduled an appointment to get my hair and makeup done for my wedding very last minute - just days before the wedding, and they were able to fit me in for both a practice run-through with hair & makeup and then on my wedding day. However, when I arrived, the stylist they had scheduled me with had never done bridal hair. I had an idea of what I wanted and she worked with my hair and after a few hours had figured out a beautiful style. I then discussed makeup with a different stylist and she tried different things on me and took notes of the colors. I was very pleased when I left after the practice run-through. I returned on the morning of my wedding and my hair was redone and looked beautiful. However, my makeup artist had an unexpected turn of events and was in the hospital. An alternate stylist stepped up but couldn't find the notes from my practice run-through. I tried to recall as much as I could which colors she had used and the way she had applied them. In the end, my makeup turned out beautiful too! Overall, I was very pleased with the way my hair and makeup were done. They were very flexible. I would use them again.
