I loved my wedding cake, but they wanted to charge and extra $150 for fondant ribbon around the rim of the tiers. Im sorry but that is insane to me. They also would not do the fondant characters for the grooms cake so I had to go to a whole other vendor to find someone who would complete the cake that Johnnies couldnt. I know it is not due to a lack of talent up there either because I have seen some amazing cakes that they have done. I was just dissappointed by all the little things that kept happening everytime I thought everything was done and ordered it seemed like we had to make another change. All in all, both of our wedding cakes (mine and the grooms cake) tasted amazing and looked fabulous!

I ordered both the usual wedding cake and a grooms cake from them. I had a certain look in mind for the wedding cake. I even brought a picture. It was just a rough textured 3tiered cake. They charged extra for having to texture it. The groom's cake was to look like a giant golden hostess cupcake. They don't have yellow cake so we asked them to dye the white. They charged extra for dying it.The girl scribbled down our information, she didn't even take the picture that I brought she just sketched a rough drawing. She was incredibly nice though, I do give her that.The day of they brought the cakes in for us to view. Nothing like what I was thinking. "My" cake looked like they just wrapped striped of fondant around the cake. No texture anywhere. The groom's cake was seriously depressing. I could have made it. They just got a round cake, put some chocolate icing on top and drew a few(very thin) squiggles on top.The flavors were ok. Nothing amazing, but good. Their white cake is by far the best. The others are just a little bland. A friend of mine also got a birthday cake from there just recently. They charged her $60 for a 2tier plain cake. Once again, it was ok. The lettering on the side was slopping and didn't look very professional.I just haven't been impressed.

Our cake came with our chapel package, so we never personally dealt with Johnnies Sweet Creations, but our cake turned out beautiful! It was exactly what I wanted! We did get to talk to them at a bridal show and they were so nice! The cake was delicious too, especially the strawberry!!

Beautiful cakes!! The grooms cake was gone at the end of the reception. The brides cake was not the color i expected but we loved it anyway. Gotta love the taste of cakes without all the fondant. Fondant is like putty and doesn't taste right. Johnny's can do just as beautiful a cake without using fondant.

I meet with two ladies from Johnnies at a Bridal show who were very friendly and helpful. I assumed that when we made an appt for the cake testing, one of them would be the one to talk with us. However, it was a younger guy. While he was very friendly and nice, he was not helpful with picking out a cake and flavors. The wedding was 3 hours away and I did not want to pay extra for them to deliver so we had a family member pick the cakes up. They were pleased and impressed with the company when they picked up the cake I did not see them until the reception and I was VERY pleased with how pretty they were! My cake was 3tier white with strawberry filling, the groom's cake was marble with chocolate mousse filling, and we also ordered an Italian cream sheet cake with cream cheese icing. (cost was around $500) My only request was NO FONDANT and they did a GREAT job following this! The groom's cake went fast but I was able to bring home some of my cake to freeze. We didn't want to wait one year so we began taking out pieces the week we got back from our honeymoon...it still tasted great still!! I have been looking for an excuse to order another one! haha

The told me they could make a picture for my groom's cake, and it turned out to be just a picture drawn in icing, not an edible sticker transparent to the cake. I was really disappointed with the groom's cake. Our wedding cake was BEAUTIFUL! Decoration and ribbon were wonderful. The cake was very dry. Wasn't impressed at the reception as I was when tasting the cake.

We used Johnnie's for our wedding and groom's cake. The wedding cake was absolutely amazing, and so tasty there wasn't any left over. The groom's cake was custom done from a pic and turned out very well.

I was very pleased with the cakes we ordered from Johnnies. The price was right and they were very tasty and pretty. The only area I was disappointed in was the level of service I received when we ordered the cakes. They seemed very unwilling to make suggestions or to offer options and it felt like they just wanted us out of there as quickly as possible. But for $1.50/slice I couldn't pass them up. The marble cake is to die for.

Cake looked great, let us pick it up on Sunday, I like these guys.

I loved our cake. It was exactly what we wanted. The only thing that was not PERFECT was that our wedding was on a Sunday and they do not deliver on Sundays, but luckily our venue had a cool, dry place to keep the cake overnight, so the bakery delivered it the night before. Every meeting and call with the bakery was professional and attentive. They are willing and able to create almost any cake you could want.

They did a wonderful job with both our Wedding Cake and Groom's Cake. They have sooo many designs to choose from and the best part is testing out of the great flavors!

They were wonderful. They sat down with me and worked out what I wanted to the tee. On your one year anniversary if you call a week before they will bake your top layer again.

They delivered the wedding cake and grooms cake exactly on time, and when one of the other vendors didn't do the job we paid them for, the delivery guy from Johnnies actually did his job for him! Absolutely wonderful, the cake looked amazing and tasted even better!

The cake was very pretty and tasty, too. The only problem was that they placed our initials on top of the cake (BJ), which had been mentioned to them as a POSSIBILITY but was never confirmed. I didn't even find out until we got the wedding pictures back. Needless to say, I was very disappointed and upset.

They did a spectacular job and really worked with the design we wanted.

Our wedding cake was a HUGE priority! I was very picky about what I wanted and they pulled it off. The cakes were very moist and tasted wonderful. We had soooo many compliments. We have used them several times since then for birthday cakes and for a baby shower. Highly recommended!
