MID-AMERICA STRING QUARTET

The Mid-America String Quartet played for my father’s Celebration of Life. Their arrangements brought joy, soothed, and filled the space with beauty as guests arrived. Words were spoken, pictures shared, but it was the music that comforted our hearts. They did not have an arrangement for a requested piece; and yet what a surprise to hear it played at the closing! Michael Reaves’ response to my original inquiry was immediate and all the arrangements were made with ease even though I was 3,000 miles from Oklahoma. I highly recommend the quartet to play for any event.

The Mid-America String Quartet played at our wedding in Tulsa two weeks ago and they were superb. From the traditional wedding music at the ceremony to popular pieces played during the opening hour of the reception, they knew when to be elegant and when a lighter tone was in order. At the end of the event they handed over the music to the DJ by playing a rousing rendition of Oklahoma!, which had the guests singing along. Perhaps the best of the many decisions we made for our wedding was to hire the Mid-America String Quartet.

The perfect finishing touch to the classy wedding idea. The quartet creates the perfect mood for the wedding and was great for the live background music at the reception. They are very professional and let you plan the music set list...at a VERY REASONABLE price! I'd use the again!
